The Beginning
It started with birthday presents. I was always the friend who spent ages wrapping gifts, adding little extras, making the whole package feel special. People started asking me to put together gifts for their friends and family. It became a thing.
In 2019, I set up a small stall at a local Christmas market with about thirty curated gift boxes. They sold out in four hours. That was the moment I thought: okay, maybe this is something.
What We Do
We find lovely things. That's the short version. The longer version involves a lot of scrolling through small maker Instagram accounts, visiting craft fairs across the country, and testing products at home before we stock them.
Everything in the shop meets three criteria: it has to be well-made, it has to come from someone who cares about what they're doing, and it has to make us genuinely happy when we hold it. If any of those are missing, it doesn't go in.
The Makers
About 70% of what we stock comes from independent makers and small workshops. We have regular suppliers we've worked with for years, and we're always finding new people at markets and fairs. The rest comes from small ethical brands whose approach matches ours.
We pay fair prices. We don't haggle small makers down. If someone tells us what their work costs, we pay it, because making things by hand is hard work and it should be valued properly.
The Wrapping
We wrap everything ourselves. It's one of the things people mention most in reviews. Gift-wrapping isn't an afterthought here. It's part of the product. We use recycled tissue, dried flowers, proper ribbon, and hand-stamped tags.
If you're buying a gift, it arrives ready to hand over. No extra wrapping needed on your end. Just add a card.

We're mainly online, but we do pop-up markets throughout the year. Follow us on social media for dates, or sign up for the occasional email. We also do corporate gifting for small businesses who want something better than generic hampers.
